A few questions have been answered in this past week. I have found direction, now to put it in motion. I foresee exciting things in the near future.

A little over a year and where do we find me. In Edmonton...again. With thoughts of leaving...again.

The proper question would be...where do i leave to? Back to Vancouver? Toronto? Grand Cayman Islands? Ireland? The answer I'm sure will be revealed in due time.

I was in a car accident a couple weeks ago.
A girl carelessly bolted through a red light and made sweet sunfire on sunfire love. Yep. Write-Off.





So after 2 weeks of short term unpaid disability leave, a bit of a broken spirit, an empty chequeing account, and a million phone calls to and from: insurance adjusters, injury adjusters, chiropractors, physiotherapists, car dealerships, and everyone else in between...i give you the silver lining...or at least a glimpse of it.

This past month seems to be quite a whirlwind for everyone I've talked to. I hope things start to calm down...or at least start whirling in positive ways.

I just made 2 huge plates of sushi. i think im going to go eat some.

Potluck tonight was fun! not quite as disasterous as round 1 potluck.

On Sunday, im going to meet Sherry in Victoria where we will catch a ferry down to Port Angeles to do makeup for this:

dear livejournal, devoted readers and those who care not for reading past this sentence...

its been sometime since ive update...
so ill give you the rundown.

first and foremost i have plenty of reason to celebrate today. I got a permanent position at work! (for those of you who dont know, i was in a 30 hr contract position here in vancouver - with my permanent position awaiting me in edmonton for when the contract was up)
long story short, they cut a whole wack of hours from our store and my position happened to be one that was eliminated.
situation=stress.
i was beginning to doubt if i should be in vancouver, if my friends would even care if i stayed or went, if i could manage being out here on my own...all kinds of internal conflict.
it didnt take long for me to realize that i have wonderful friends out here who really do love and care about me, and that I in fact love this city. (should i ever meet a straight man, i might love this city even more)
Anyhooo..i applied for two different positions at my store and got the 24 hour!
So there we have it. Im staying. My roots are planted and im going to give a solid go at this vancity life.
